“INS” control valves are generally used in situations where variable factors such as flow, pressure, temperature, and liquid level need to be dynamically adjusted according to the situation and requirements of between 35% to 70% controllable range.
Our Butterfly Valves work by fully or partially opening or closing in response to signals received from controllers and / or sensors that compare a “setpoint” (benchmark) to a “process variable” whose value is provided by sensors that monitor changes in such conditions. For some within the valve and pipe industry, Control Valve is also referred to as the Final Control Element.
The opening or closing of control valves is usually done automatically by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. Positioners are used to control the opening or closing of the actuator based on electric, or pneumatic signals. These control signals, traditionally based on 3-15psi (0.2-1.0bar), more common now are 4-20mA signals for industry, 0-10V for HVAC systems, and the introduction of “Smart” systems, HART, Fieldbus Foundation, and Profibus being the more common protocols.

With partnership with various international Actuator manufacturers, our rotary actuators package comes with different functionalities, auxiliary switches and with emergency control function in a variety of torque classes ranging from 20 to 3100 Nm are available for selection for the motorisation of the “INS” Wafer type, Lug type and as well as Double Flange butterfly valves (DN 25 to 700) for indoor and outdoor including API requirements. The butterfly valves can be operated manually with a lever or a worm gear.
